The portfolio captures our three months of work, from customer discovery and synthesis to product concept, wireframes, prototypes, and iterations. As a Product Owner, I worked cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and user groups, optimizing processes to ensure successful product delivery.

I led customer discovery and facilitated research synthesis. I managed the scrum team to carry out product development by grooming and prioritizing the backlog, planning sprints, and balancing user feedback with development capabilities.

Leading a team of four members, we conducted over 50 customer discovery sessions with student-athletes, university athletic departments, and related stakeholders.
Following our discovery, I facilitated the research synthesis and identified three common challenges faced by student-athletes:
- Time management
- Financial and future planning
- Monetization
Among these themes, 'Financial and future planning' stood out the most.

❗More than 50% of student-athletes felt unprepared to manage their money**
❗98% of NCAA student-athletes won't become professional athletes.
Experiencing short attention spans & time constraints
❗ 33% of NCAA student-athletes feel overwhelmed***
Lacking engaging resources & content
❗17% of USC student-athletes attended in-person financial literacy events in 2023

As a Product Owner, I work closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to create PRDs, manage the product backlog, and prioritize features, driving the agile development process. I also design and streamline operational processes and project management to ensure timely delivery.
